Title: Trends in retail
Topics:

  • Omni-Channel / path to purchase, in which we (also) talk about E-commerce
  • Experiential Retail: The changing role of the physical store: how to create more emotional experience in the store for more impact
  • Internet of Things / including Programmatic (what to do if in the near future agents like Alexa get to choose the brand for the consumers/shoppers)
  • Artificial Intelligence: this topic might be the most future focused, but it is a trend to keep in mind
Our plan for the afternoon:
  1. Welcome word by Gino: 15 minutes, introducing the 4 topics
  2. Then 4x45 minutes sessions around the 4 topics
  3. 15 minutes for general brainstorm at the end to set the agenda for the 3 remaining TMA meetings.
Each 45 minutes session contains:
  • 20 minutes presentation by Kantar TNS
  • 20 minutes interactive part (discussion around statements, a creative session to think about solutions/ a practical application of the theory on their own brand or a case brand, etc, etc)
  • 5 minutes wrapping up
